Parades: The Street Arts Festival Of Nanterre.

Clowns, circus arts, music, puppets, dance, installation: all these arts are celebrated in Nanterre, just a stone's throw from Paris, during the Parade(s) festival. This entirely free event is one of the first street arts festivals in France.

"A free and friendly festival."

It was in 1989 that the city of Nanterre launched Parade(s), the street arts festival. This event was then the first of its kind in the Paris region.

More than 20 years later, this free festival has gained momentum. It has become a true popular celebration, a moment of sharing and pleasure not to be missed!

The festival's programming is eclectic and caters to all ages. Every year, about forty companies present their creations in the streets, squares, parks and many other unusual places in the city center.

Edition 2023 translates to "2023 Edition" in English.

The next edition of Parade(s), the street arts festival of Nanterre, will take place from Friday, June 2nd, 2023 to Sunday, June 4th, 2023 in various locations in the city center.

For three days, the city of Nanterre will transform into a huge open-air stage to host numerous shows!

Various genres will be represented: street theater, processions, performances, circus, music, dance, puppets and workshops for children.

This year, artists from Japan, Burkina Faso, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Quebec and France will enchant the streets of the city.
