Here are the ingredients needed to make lemon pie style frozen verrines for 6 people:
1 litre of lemon sorbet
6 small meringues
6 slices of pound cake or lemon cake
To note: to imagine this express dessert, we were inspired by the traditional lemon meringue pie. But nothing prevents you from making these frozen verrines with other sorbet flavors, for example raspberry or passion fruit sorbet.
The preparation of these iced verrines is very simple and fast.
For a more festive presentation, simply use a star-shaped cookie cutter (or any other shape you like).
1- Take the sorbet out of the freezer 10 minutes before making the verrines.
2- Meanwhile, cut 6 slices of pound cake or lemon cake about 1 cm thick.
3- Use the cookie cutter to cut out stars from the cake slices.

4- Reserve the stars for the decoration and spread the cake scraps at the bottom of your verrines.

1- Add two scoops of lemon sorbet to each glass.
2- Sprinkle the sorbet with a coarsely crushed meringue.
