You love homemade pizza but don't know how to make the dough? No worries, you can prepare individual pizzas by substituting the dough with small Indian breads called naan. We invite you to discover the very easy recipe for naan bread pizza.
Here are the necessary ingredients to prepare naan bread pizza for 4 people:
4 naan breads.
200 g of tomato pulp.
2 tablespoons of olive oil.
2 tablespoons of chopped basil.
1 tablespoon of garlic powder.
Salt and pepper.
125 g of fresh Paris mushrooms.
4 slices of cooked ham.
50 g of grated cheese.
4 pinches of dried oregano.
For this naan bread pizza recipe, start by making a good homemade tomato sauce.
1- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
2- Add the tomato pulp.
3- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chopped basil. In winter, you can use frozen basil instead of fresh.
4- Let the homemade tomato sauce simmer for at least 15 minutes, so that it reduces well.
While the tomato sauce simmers, start chopping the toppings for the naan bread pizza.
1- Rinse and dry the button mushrooms, then slice them.
2- Roll up the slices of cooked ham into little rolls, and then cut them into strips.
3- Set aside the chopped ingredients for assembling the individual pizzas.
Once the ingredients are ready, all that's left to do is assemble each pizza on naan bread.
1- Place the small Indian breads on a non-stick baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper.
2- Spread tomato basil sauce on each bread, making sure to leave about a 0.5 cm margin around the edges.
3- Evenly distribute the mushroom slices and strips of white ham over the tomato sauce.
4- To finish the assembly, sprinkle each pizza with grated cheese and a pinch of dried oregano.
The naan bread pizza recipe has the dual advantage of being easy to prepare and quick to cook.
1- Preheat your oven to 210°C (410°F).
2- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the individual pizzas for 6 to 10 minutes.
3- Keep an eye on the coloration of the dough to ensure the edges don't dry out during cooking. The naan pizzas are ready when the cheese is melted and slightly golden brown.
4- Serve them as soon as they come out of the oven, accompanied by a green salad or a mix of baby greens.
