Looking for an original and easy idea for a festive aperitif? Try our recipe for ham and mozzarella pizza rolls! As the name suggests, these little individual pizzas are prepared like a simple rolled cake, with a roll of ready-to-use pizza dough. With their fun shape and versatile toppings, they're a family favorite. We explain how to prepare them step by step.
1- Roll out the pizza dough with a rolling pin to a rectangular shape. Roll it out as much as possible because pizza rolls are better with a thin dough.
2- Cover the pizza dough with the slices of cooked ham.
3- Coat the ham with the well-reduced homemade tomato sauce, leaving a margin of at least a centimeter on the sides to limit leaks.
4- Spread the thinly sliced mozzarella on top and sprinkle with dried oregano.
1- Gently roll the pizza dough on itself to form a log. You want to make as tight a roll as possible so your little pizzas will hold together after cutting.
2- Cut this roll into sections of about 1.5 cm thick.
3- Place the pizza rolls as you go on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
