Since 2015, the famous Courson Plant Days in Essonne have moved to the Domaine de Chantilly. This must-attend event for horticulture enthusiasts has therefore changed location, but not spirit... More than 30 years after their creation, these days have taken on an international dimension, without deviating from their primary purpose: to showcase horticultural know-how and the arts of botany.
A major horticultural event
The Plant Days, born at Domaine de Courson from the meeting of a handful of enthusiasts, have become THE European horticulture event in France.
More than 30 years after its creation, this event in the Paris region has taken on an international dimension and has settled in Domaine de Chantilly.
This plant festival brings together 250 exhibitors from all over Europe: nurserymen, horticulturists and professionals from the plant world.
It offers visitors the opportunity to buy plants, flowers and shrubs, including rare plants, but also to obtain advice on maintaining their garden.
Amateur, novice or passionate gardeners can participate in workshops or attend conferences on specific themes (orchids or carnivorous plants, for example...).
Edition 2023 => 2023 Edition.
The 2023 edition of the Plant Days (formerly organized in Courson) will take place on May 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2023 in the English Garden of the Chantilly estate.
This year's spring theme is the Gourmet Garden: an opportunity to combine gardening and cooking!
For 3 days, the pleasure of tasting garden produce, raw, in fritters, in decoction or in jam will be discussed.
As for perennials, Edible Flowers will of course be in the spotlight. Come and discover these species that offer gourmets surprising bouquets of flavors!
For the occasion, the Chantilly Estate will be transformed into a garden of delights and will invite visitors to a sensory celebration dedicated to unknown, forgotten or cutting-edge flavors among the great chefs of cuisine.
Gardening enthusiasts will also glean advice on choosing the right plants and cultivating their own gourmet garden on a balcony or larger space.
Several conferences will be given by specialists such as Alix de Saint Venant and Xavier Mathias, as well as Philippe Collignon and Bernard Bureau.
