It has been over 10 years and as many seasons since France 5 has been broadcasting Nus et culottés, the adventures of two fearless travelers. If you enjoy following the journey of Guillaume Mouton and Nans Thomassey, the two buddies who travel without money or clothes, know that France 5 is airing a new episode tonight at 9pm, with the objective of exploring the volcanoes of Auvergne.
With "Nus et culottés", the production company "Bonne Pioche" has come up with a concept even stronger than Antoine de Maximy's adventures in "J'irai dormir chez vous"!
It was in 2011 that they developed this documentary series for France 5, whose title perfectly sums up the concept... As an anecdote, the two adventurers of "Nus et culottés" allegedly sold this concept to the channel by showing up almost naked at the offices of France 5...
The two authors and protagonists of this program, Nans Thomassey and Guillaume Mouton, also known as Nans and Mouts, travel across France or the world starting off naked and relying on the solidarity of the people they meet to successfully complete their adventure.
Each episode of Nus et culottés follows the improbable and adventurous journeys of Guillaume Mouton and Nans Thomassey. The two friends came up with this concept to prove that it is possible to travel and live with next to nothing. The moral of this TV program? "Even without a penny (-underwear), one can achieve their wildest dreams"!
The two buddies, who film themselves, set themselves a different objective each time. At the beginning of the journey, they only have a knife and, of course, cameras to film their adventure.
Beyond the journey made possible through hitchhiking and resourcefulness, each documentary is also a human adventure where the two globetrotters form connections with the people they meet.
For the 11th season of "Nus et culottés," Nans and Mouts set off naked and without money from a naturist beach in Gard.
In this exclusive episode, to be discovered tonight on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 9 p.m. on France 5, their objective is to go to Auvergne to organize a gospel concert around a homemade soup that would awaken the volcanoes!
Thanks to 6 onboard cameras, including a drone, the two wandering travelers offer us magnificent images, up to the level of strong emotions and silly antics that punctuate this program. This new adventure, which deals with spirituality and sharing, is definitely worth a visit.
