The French are increasingly taking up horse riding. If you have never practiced horseback riding, the Horse Day is the opportunity to get in the saddle. On that day, equestrian centers all over France open their doors to the general public to celebrate this sport and this animal.
The Horse Day is an event not to be missed for horse lovers.
Whether you are passionate or simply curious, you can take advantage of this "open day" to visit the clubs in your department and maybe choose one where you will enroll...
In all regions of France, clubs participate in this event and are waiting for you to introduce you to equestrian sports.
Horse Day is organized by the FFE (French Equestrian Federation) to allow everyone to discover horse riding, one of the favorite sports of the French.
With over 700,000 members, equestrian sports rank 3rd among the most practiced sports activities in France.
This sport, which offers a privileged contact with nature and animals, is generating increasing enthusiasm. For the past 5 years, the French Equestrian Federation has been recording an average of 30,000 additional riders each year.
Thanks to the free initiations it offers, Horse Day contributes each year to increasing the number of members of the FFE.
The Horse Day will take place on September 10, 2023 in equestrian centers and pony clubs throughout France.
Free initiations and activities will be organized in all departments from 2pm to 5pm.
On the agenda: pony rides, horseback riding or carriage rides for young and old, walks along small paths or forest trails, equestrian shows and entertainment, not to mention visits to the facilities...
