The Pass'sport: A 50 € Aid To Register In A Sports Club

The benefits of regular physical activity for children have been proven. To fight against the sedentary lifestyle of young people, the State has decided to renew the Pass'Sport scheme for the 2022-2023 season. If you don't know this 50 € aid and the conditions to meet to benefit from it, read our practical guide below. We present you all you need to know about this aid in 5 questions.

1- What does this assistance consist of?

The Pass'Sport is a state aid to encourage the practice of sports among young people, especially those who are furthest from it because of a disability or financial difficulties.

This scheme is presented as a back-to-school sports allowance of an amount of €50 per child or young adult to join a sports club.

More than one million young people have already benefited from it and, for the 2022-2023 season, this individual and non-transferable aid could potentially benefit 6 million young people.

2- Who can benefit?

The Pass'Sport is for youth between the ages of 6 and 30 :

- children between the ages of 6 and 17 who receive the back-to-school allowance or ARS

- Children and young people from 6 to 19 years of age who receive the education allowance for disabled children (AEEH)

- children and young people aged 16 to 30 who receive the disabled adults' allowance (AAH)

- students aged 28 or less who receive a means-tested higher education grant, annual assistance from the CROUS or a regional grant for health and social training during the 2022-2023 academic year by October 15.

3- Where can it be used?

If you meet the conditions to benefit from the Pass'Sport scheme, you should know that you will be able to use it until December 31, 2022 for any membership or license with the following sports associations and structures:

- Sports associations and structures affiliated with sports federations approved by the Ministry of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games

- sports associations approved by the Ministry of Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games and domiciled in priority neighborhoods of the city policy or supported by the Cités éducatives en 2022 program.

4- Do I have to apply for it?

Eligible youth and families do not need to apply to benefit from the Pass'Sport scheme.

If you are eligible, an email was sent to you by the Ministry of Sports and Olympic and Paralympic Games during August 2022.

Students with scholarships will receive this email during September or October 2022.

5- How does this assistance work?

If you meet the requirements to benefit from this scheme, you have therefore received or will receive an email containing a unique Pass'Sport code.

This code allows you to benefit from a one-time deduction of €50, when you register in an eligible sports club.

If you have not received your code or have lost it, you have the option to reclaim your code by filling out a form on the official website below, under Get My Code.

Please note: this recovery feature will only be open to eligible individuals starting in October.
