The amusement park Terra botanica opened its doors in Maine-et-Loire in April 2010. More than just another amusement park, this place is a theme park entirely dedicated to the mysteries of the plant world.
With its 12 hectares of gardens and 15,000 square meters of greenhouses, this place houses 300,000 plants from all continents.
This family-friendly amusement park can be explored on foot, by boat, and even in the air, aboard funny nutshell-shaped vehicles! It is among the most visited tourist sites in Anjou.
Four thematic spaces
The visit to Terra Botanica park is organized around 5 thematic areas, each offering several activities related to the theme:
• Origins of life;
• Unusual plants;
• Anjou getaway;
• Great explorations;
• Mysteries of the forest.
In total, the park offers over 50 attractions and interactive activities for wonder and learning while having fun.
Terra Botanica's autumn animations
After a record summer attendance, Terra Botanica park is launching Autumn Festival from October 7th, 2023.
Visitors can attend the traditional Autumn Festival at the park starting on Saturday, October 7th and during every weekend in October, as well as throughout the Toussaint holidays, from October 21st to November 5th. This year, the festivities are themed around the circus, with dozens of animations and attractions reimagined for the occasion.
For the second consecutive year, Terra Nocta night animation invites you to stroll through the beautifully illuminated park. This extended nocturnal visit has been offered since this summer. The walk will lead you to the great novelty of 2023, The Canopy of Birds, and through the Giants' course.
Autumn Festival is also an opportunity for visitors to admire the spectacle of autumn colors, as well as the thousands of cucurbits and chrysanthemums that decorate the park's pathways.
