The Montmartre Harvest Festival is an event not to be missed. Every year, nearly 500,000 visitors gather in this picturesque neighborhood of the capital to attend this event.
These autumn festivities are even the third most popular Parisian event after Paris Plage and the White Night!
Numerous gastronomic, oenological and folkloric activities are offered. On the program: tastings of local products, a parade of oenological brotherhoods, folk groups, and a fireworks display at Sacré-Cœur...
If the Montmartre Harvest Festival is above all a festive and friendly gathering, it also has a charitable purpose.
All the proceeds collected during the harvest (as well as the profits from the sale of the 1500 bottles of Clos Montmartre) are indeed used to finance social actions in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
Over the years, this festival has become an increasingly environmentally committed event, and the organizers strive for zero waste in partnership with local and national associations and companies.
The Montmartre Harvest Festival celebrates its 90th edition this year, from October 11th to 15th, 2023.
Less than a year before the Paris 2024 Olympics, the festival's theme is "The 18th district embraces the Games": a true ode to sport and the values of Olympism (excellence, friendship, and respect)!
This event, which aims to be more inclusive and accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities, will have the following highlights:
=> The Decibels Vendanges Festival, which makes its grand return from October 11th to 14th in three venues in the 18th district of Paris.
=> The Taste Trail, which will be set up at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur on October 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2023, and brings together around a hundred producers from French and international terroirs.
=> The Grand Parade, which will take place on October 14th from 11:45 am to 1:30 pm. The procession, composed of over a hundred brotherhoods from France and beyond, will start from the Vineyards of Clos Montmartre and make its way to the 18th district Town Hall.
=> The ceremony of non-proposals of marriage, which will take place on Place des Abbesses on October 15th at 10:30 am. The mayor of the 18th district, Éric Lejoindre, will play along with non-marriages and eternalize the commitment of around twenty couples who say no!
=> The Super Ball, which is the closing ball of the Harvest Festival. It will take place at Louise Michel Square on October 15th from 4:30 pm onwards and will be animated by DJ Thierry Lecamp. This ball invites you to the foot of the Sacré-Cœur to dance until nightfall!
