The European Artistic Crafts Days, held across France in early April, invite you to discover over 200 professions and share the passion of nearly 4,000 professionals. Don't miss these three days that highlight extraordinary talents and inspire new vocations!
Three days of discovery
Every spring, the European Artistic Crafts Days offer you the chance to meet passionate artisans.
Whether they are ceramists, inlayers, gilders, luthiers, glassblowers, lacemakers, or painting restorers, they all want to share their passion and expertise. For three days, you are invited to enter their workshops to watch them work and discuss their journey and profession.
Moreover, exceptional open house events are organized in training centers for young people and their families: an opportunity to learn more about diplomas, courses, and internships...
Fun activities in pottery, sewing, or porcelain painting are specifically aimed at children. Finally, the Artistic Crafts Days are marked by prestigious exhibitions, conferences, and symposiums.
Events all over France
The European Artistic Crafts Days take place every year on the first weekend of April. They are held throughout France, in the workshops of professionals and in the vocational training centers for artistic crafts.
Each region offers a unique program based on its history, traditions, and creative potential. Studio tours, exhibitions, conferences, demonstrations of expertise, fun activities for children, open house days in training centers... there's something for everyone!
All events offered as part of the Artistic Crafts Days are free.
Note: This event was launched in 2002 by the Ministry of Craftsmanship. Today, under the aegis of three ministries, it is organized by the National Institute of Artistic Crafts (INMA) with regional support from the Chambers of Trades and Crafts and the entire network of artistic crafts actors.
