The Christmas Markets Of Metz: A Must-see Attraction In Lorraine

As the end-of-year holidays approach, Metz dons its festive lights and upholds tradition by organizing not just one but several Christmas markets in the streets of the city center! This event is one of the most significant in the region and even in France: an occasion that both young and old wouldn't miss for anything in the world...

One of the largest markets in France

For over fifteen years, the city of Metz has followed the tradition of Christmas markets that are so successful in the East of France.

From the end of November, more than a hundred Christmas chalets, an ice rink, a Ferris wheel, and numerous activities take over the city center for the greatest delight of both young and old.

The market (or rather the markets) of Metz are among the largest in France and the most popular, just like those of Strasbourg and Colmar in Alsace.
