Festival C'est Pas Classique : Concerts For All
Since 2005, 'C'est pas classique' has established itself as one of the most unique classical music festivals in the PACA region. This event offers a great artistic richness while resolutely playing the card of the general public. It attracts an ever-growing audience, of all ages and socio-professional categories.
Presentation of the festival
The festival 'C'est pas classique' organized by the Conseil général des Alpes-Maritimes at the palais Acropolis in Nice is a unique event in France.
For several days, free concerts are offered to bring classical music within the reach of all, whether neophytes or knowledgeable music lovers.
Origins of this festival
The festival 'C'est pas classique' was created in 2005 at the initiative of Christian Estrosi and perpetuated by Eric Ciotti.
From its First edition in November 2005, this event has been a great success by attracting 30,000 spectators.
In 2006, the success of this festival was confirmed with 40,000 visitors, a 25% increase in attendance over the previous year.
The secrets of success
'C'est pas classique' is a big musicathlon offering several days of music and completely free access to the concerts.
The success of this festival is due to the quality of the shows, the presence of internationally renowned artists and the free performances.
But the event does not stop there: musical films, a choiruraoké, 'master classes', tributes, exhibitions of instruments and photos, conferences and debates also ensure the diversity and success of this event, which is intended to be fun and accessible to all.
