Chicken With Mustard: The Recipe In Pictures

Ingredients
Here are the ingredients needed to make Mustard chicken for 4 people:
4 chicken fillets
2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
20 cl of fresh cream
a knob of butter
chopped parsley (or another herb of your choice)
To note: if you are watching your cholesterol levels, you can replace the butter with vegetable margarine and the crème fraîche with a vegetable cream such as Cuisine Oats.
Preparation
The preparation of this minced chicken with Mustard is really simple.
1- Cut the chicken fillets into pieces for faster cooking.

2- Place them in a container and add the Dijon mustard. Mix well until the chicken pieces are completely coated with mustard.

To note: since the Dijon Mustard is already quite spicy, there is no need to add salt and pepper to the meat in this recipe. Instead, I suggest adding an herb like chopped parsley or snipped chives.
Cooking
1- Heat a frying pan over high heat and add the butter.
2- When the butter foams, add the chicken pieces and let them brown for about 5 minutes before turning them over.

3- Continue cooking over high heat for 5 minutes, until the chicken is browned on all sides.

4- Lower the heat then add the fresh cream and chopped parsley.
5- Simmer the chicken with mustard for a few minutes on low heat until a creamy sauce forms.

6- Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning if necessary by adding a teaspoon of mustard.
7- You can serve these pieces of chicken in sauce with the side dish of your choice, such as a pan of vegetables, steamed potatoes or French fries.
