Mustard Seed Turkey Slices is a quick and easy way to make tasty, creamy poultry fillets with ingredients from the refrigerator. The addition of mustard seeds adds a little extra flavour to the sauce, especially if you can't find Dijon mustard in the supermarket.

Here are the ingredients needed to make a Turkey Sliced with Mustard Seeds for 4 people:

4 turkey fillets
20 cl of whole cream (or vegetable)
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon of mustard seeds
15 g butter (or vegetable margarine)

This Mustard Seed Turkey Thin Slice is pretty quick to prepare. It allows you to improvise a tasty sauce dish from simple poultry fillets.

To note: if you can't find this ingredient at the supermarket because of the mustard shortage, skip this step. Instead, you can add minced shallot to the preparation.

Cooking

1- Melt the butter in a pan over high heat.

2- When the butter foams, add the meat and brown it on both sides.

3- Sprinkle with mustard seeds and mix. Heating the mustard seeds in a pan over high heat for a few minutes will roast them to release their aroma.

Did you know that?

For this recipe, I used black mustard seeds from the Brassica nigra variety. There are actually several varieties of plants in the Brassicaceae family that yield mustard seeds. The color of the seeds varies from white to black to light yellow to brown.

Even in times of Shortage of Dijon mustard in supermarkets, it is possible to find black mustard seeds in Asian stores and grocery stores.

This ingredient is notably used in Indian cuisine to enhance the flavor of curries. Simply fry them in hot oil or Ghee to pop them and release their flavor.
