The Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival that starts in September and always ends on the first weekend of October.
With around 6 million annual visitors, this Beer Festival is the largest folk festival in the world. Nearly 6 million liters of beer are served there each year, accompanied by 500,000 chickens, 100,000 sausages, and giant 30-centimeter pretzels...
Note: The beer is sold in large tents set up and decorated for the occasion, as well as in the adjacent Biergartens. It is served in one-liter mugs or Maß.
