C Demain: Documentaries Presented By Julian Bugier On France 5

Julian Bugier, known to viewers as the presenter of the 1 PM news on France 2, has new projects for 2025. He is stopping his role as host of the debate show La soirée continue to focus on a new documentary series on France 5. Here is what we already know about this new program, which is expected to be titled C demain.

A new adventure for Julian Bugier

Loyal viewers of the France 2 channel are well acquainted with Julian Bugier, as this journalist has been presenting the 1 PM news since 2021. Without giving up this key information role on this public channel, he announced in the media his intention to regularly relocate his news broadcast to meet the French people and echo their concerns.

Moreover, this news program closer to the people and regions is not the only novelty in the journalist's current events. Julian Bugier will also stop presenting the debate show "La soirée continue." He will hand over the reins of this program to his colleague Carole Gaessler to better focus on another project: a documentary series titled "C demain" on France 5.

Documentaries broadcast in prime time

Viewers will be able to discover the documentary collection C demain on France 5 starting in 2025. These 52-minute documentaries will be broadcast in prime time and will cover themes related to consumption.

Julian Bugier is a specialist in this field as he hosted the show Tout compte fait for six years on France 2. As a reminder, this weekly show was dedicated to economic themes such as the uberization of society, online shopping, food waste, or the zero waste approach in daily life.

In this new collection of documentaries for France 5, the 1 PM news presenter will offer a tour of France of initiatives and solutions that can change our lives. As suggested by the title "C demain," it will focus on innovations likely to revolutionize our daily lives in the near future.

Spotlight on Innovative French People

Regarding the content of the C collection tomorrow, Julian Bugier hinted that these documentaries will cover various themes: transport, food, leisure, farmer remuneration...

About this new project, he also stated in an interview: “there are thousands of ideas that are transforming our daily lives as consumers. We will highlight them with intelligence. It will be concrete, service-oriented, and benevolent.”

And above all, the journalist, who says he is eager to get back in the field, will go to meet the French who innovate. As early as 1976, didn't President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing say that France has no oil but it has ideas? With this new collection of documentaries, Julian Bugier promises to reveal the most innovative ideas emerging from all corners of our country.

A book for better consumption

This autumn, Julian Bugier has a busy schedule as he has just released the book *100 Ideas to Spend Less and Live Better* with First Editions in October 2024.

In this practical guide co-written with Valérie Heurtel, the journalist, always eager to be helpful, offers readers solutions to reduce their bills. This book is, among other things, an invitation to consume locally and spend wisely.

Just like the documentary series C demain, this decidedly feel-good work highlights positive initiatives and tips for better consumption. In short: life- and society-changing solutions!
