But this unique French fiction manages to tackle these difficult subjects without excessive pathos, thanks in particular to the talent of its female performers.
2- She is carried by a top-notch cast.
One of the great strengths of the new series Les randonneuses is having succeeded in bringing together a top-notch female cast. In the roles of these hikers unlike any others, viewers will recognize sure values of French cinema and television such as Clémentine Célarié and Alix Poisson, revealed by the series Parents mode d'emploi on France 2, but also Camille Chamoux in the role of Patty, Joséphine de Meaux in that of Karen, Claire Borotra in that of Valérie and Tiphaine Daviot in that of Morgan.
Indeed, confirmed actresses were needed to embody with such accuracy these characters vibrating with humanity.
To complete this 6-star cast, the production also hired Lucien Jean-Baptiste and Gérémy Crédeville to play high mountain guides while Baptiste Lecaplain and Maxence Danet-Fauvel play hiking companions of the heroines...
All together with Elsa Lunghini form a top-notch cast, up to the level of this project that surely holds a special place in Clémentine Célarié's heart. The actress who was personally affected by colon cancer did not hesitate to talk about it in the media to promote prevention of this pathology.

As we mentioned previously, the series Les randonneuses compensates for a serious subject with its humor and magnificent scenery.
The six women at the heart of this fiction have the crazy idea to go hiking to conquer the Dôme de la Lauze, a summit that reaches nearly 4000 meters in altitude.
This fiction was filmed in the heart of a magnificent nature in the Hautes-Alpes region and the beauty of the mountain landscapes alone is a good reason to watch this TV series!

The series "Les Randonneuses" is much more than just a fiction about cancer. The hiking that these women share is not only a physical feat. It is also a personal challenge that they have set for themselves!

During the hike, many obstacles await them on the way, fatigue and discouragement lurk, but despite the difficulty and inevitable arguments, this human adventure will bring them closer together forever.
5- This fiction is an ode to life.
If you are hesitant to watch a TV series about a disease as serious as cancer, don't worry! The hikers are not "victims" of cancer but rather funny, touching and inspiring fighters.
From a difficult subject, the screenwriters Fanny Riedberger, Anna Fregonese and Sylvie Audecœur have composed an ode to life with finesse and depth. These six heroines who have the will to win and live are particularly endearing.
Under the direction of director Frédéric Berthe, they take us on an emotional journey, where laughter is as important as tears.
