Good news for fans of "Fais pas ci, fais pas ça" and "Une famille formidable"! Starting Monday, February 5th, TF1 will be broadcasting a delightful new show about blended families. This TV series, titled "La Tribu," stars Alix Poisson and Jonathan Zaccaï as a couple in their forties who move into a house with their respective children. "The Tribe" is a very loose adaptation of the Swedish series "Our Big Family" available on Netflix. However, while the original Swedish series is rather dramatic, this new show on TF1 leans more towards comedy.
Screenwriters Manon Dillys and Éliane Vigneron were tasked with adding "a touch of whimsy" and have, among other things, created the character of Mila. This high-energy family comedy will brighten up your Monday evenings on TF1, addressing the theme of blended families in a light-hearted manner and stringing together comical situations.
This quirky family series also shares similarities with "Fais pas ci, fais pas ça" or "Parents mode d'emploi" (the series that brought Alix Poisson to fame on France 2). The actress had already played a comedy-tinged mother role.

In "The Tribe," Camille and Martin are a couple in their forties in love, leading a blended family. Contrary to the saying that "you can't choose your family," they have decided to bring together under one roof Raphael, Martin's son, and Camille's three children: Morgane, Leo, and Mila.
This blended family has been living together for a week when their already complicated daily life is turned upside down. As the question arises of celebrating the boys' birthdays together, since they were born just days apart, Camille finds out she is pregnant again.
When she learns about her pregnancy, the woman in her forties has doubts about her future motherhood. For Martin and Camille, the path to family harmony seems long and full of obstacles.
She brings to life a whole gallery of whimsical characters.
As if managing children and their new home wasn't enough, Martin and Camille have not cut ties with their respective exes, Franck and Alexandra, portrayed by Maxence Tual and Vanessa David.
Between their own children, their exes, one's sister and the other's parents, their life is far from smooth sailing! Will their love be able to withstand the anger of Camille's ex, Franck, and the causticity of Martin's ex, Alexandra?
In La Tribu, family balance is inevitably unstable, especially since the children each have their demands and do not hesitate to manipulate Camille and Martin to achieve their goals... All these characters full of contradictions will have to learn to live together.

The series "La Tribu" is particularly well-written, featuring numerous comedic scenes, but that's not all... Unlike a short program like "Parents mode d'emploi," this series is not solely reliant on comedic elements. The family's daily life is portrayed more realistically. The situations are authentic and can at any moment take a 360-degree turn into something more dramatic.
One of the strengths of this drama is its portrayal of a couple who do not share the same educational principles. In this blended family, Martin is responsible and Camille is more permissive. Camille, 42 years old, is an idealistic fighter who sometimes prefers to embellish the truth, while Martin, 46 years old, is an organized and foresighted French teacher who is always worried when the situation gets out of his control.

The series "La Tribu" features actors who have honed their skills on television, starting with Alix Poisson. The actress has already demonstrated her comedic potential in "Quadras" and "Parents mode d'emploi." Meanwhile, Jonathan Zaccaï is better known to audiences for his seductive roles such as in the mini-series "L’homme de nos vies" on M6, but he wanted to return to comedy.
