"the European Festival Of Nude Photography In Arles"
The European Festival of Nude Photography offers exhibitions, workshops, screenings and meetings around nudity. It provides an opportunity every year to discover the work of contemporary photographers on the theme of the body.
"The Revealed Body"
The European Nude Photography Festival, held annually in Arles, brings together photographers and image professionals around the theme of the body.
The festival was founded by Arlesian photographer Bruno Rédarès, who serves as its President.
This event seeks to "define the boundaries of the representation of the body in a society that idealizes and yet flays it at the same time." Beyond just nude photography, this festival presents various photographic perspectives and expressions on the body in general.
Edition 2023 translates to "2023 Edition" in English.
The 2023 edition of the European Nude Photography Festival will take place from May 5th to May 14th, 2023.
Around forty artists will be exhibited in different private galleries in Arles, at the Archbishop's Palace, at the Van-Gogh space and at the Sainte-Anne Chapel.
As every year, debates, workshops, technical demonstrations and artist meetings will also be proposed.
Since 2009, this festival has also extended to Les Baux-de-Provence in the heart of the Alpilles, for an image projection in the Carrières de Lumières: an evening not to be missed!
