A visit that's a cross between a safari and a stroll.
The visit to the Haute-Touche Reserve begins with a car safari. This 4 km safari allows you to encounter deer, hinds, fallow deer, and roe deer, offering an unforgettable show without leaving your vehicle!
The visit to the reserve can then continue on 3 km of trails by foot, bike, or even electric carts (available for rent). Educational panels are placed along the different routes.
During this walk in a green setting, you will meet species from the five continents: tigers, cheetahs, lynxes, baboons, lemurs, antelopes, and birds... Observatories have been set up to offer visitors panoramic views of the herds and wild flocks living at the Haute-Touche.
The most beautiful collection of deer in the world
The Haute-Touche Reserve is home to very rare species such as the Mesopotamian fallow deer, as well as oryx, giant kangaroos, lemurs, and tigers!
This green haven hosts endangered species like the red panda and the Sumatran tiger, as well as unusual mammals like the emperor tamarin.
In addition to gathering animals from the 5 continents, this zoological reserve is known for having the most beautiful collection of deer in the world. You can discover some 8 different deer species there, including the hog deer!
Up-close animal encounters
Throughout the day, the life of the Haute-Touche Reserve is punctuated by feedings. Spaces are arranged for the public to witness the feeding of lemurs, the mealtime of pelicans, and other African birds.
Visitors can also enjoy numerous activities on the origins, behaviors, and lifestyles of the different inhabitants of the reserve. Finally, benches and picnic areas invite you to take a break. A restaurant and a shop complete the facilities of the zoological reserve.
