Les Lueurs Du Temps: Candlelight Illuminations In Provins
During the summer evenings Les Lueurs du Temps, the medieval city of Provins is illuminated by candlelight. This nocturnal event is an opportunity to rediscover the streets, squares and monuments by candlelight: a pure moment of enchantment!
A magical atmosphere
Lueurs du Temps invite you to discover the medieval city of Provins in a magical and singular atmosphere, by candlelight. For the occasion, we cut the street lighting and thousands of candles take over.
During these summer evenings you can experience a pure moment of enchantment as you stroll through the heart of this Unesco World Heritage city! The town has no less than 58 historical monuments, witnesses of its past.
You will also be able to enjoy many musical animations, equestrian shows, street shows and discover the singular beauty of the Roseraie de Provins illuminated with candles.
Edition 2022
The 2022 edition of Les Lueurs du Temps will take place on Saturdays, July 2 and August 6, 2022 in the streets, stores and monuments of the medieval city of Provins.
Only one hour from Paris, come and take a trip back in time and enjoy a rich program of paid or free animations :
The Caesar Tower will be lit by more than 700 candles and will present a continuous audiovisual scenography.
From 8:30 pm to midnight.
The equestrian show 'Crins de feu' will be presented by the Equestrio company in the ditches of the ramparts, at the Porte St Jean.
Sessions at 9:30 pm and 11 pm. Duration: 25 to 30 minutes. Ticketing at the entrance of the show Porte St-Jean, the day D from 13h.
Prices : adult 10 € - child 6 € (4 to 12 years old) - free for children under 4 years old.
Musical atmosphere and live concert on the Place du Châtel from 7 pm
Shows and juggling on the theme of fire will take place on the Saint-Quiriace square.
The Roseraie de Provins will welcome you in the heart of its park and in the middle of hundreds of roses for a night concert. Tea room and store.
Continuous opening from 10 am and concerts at 9 pm.

A theatrical animation will be proposed in the Underground for a discovery of the depths of Provins.
Restaurants and stores will open at night on the Place du Châtel and in the Rue du Val.
