Outdoor Festival 06 : The Festival Of Outdoor Sports In The Alpes-maritimes
The Alpes-Maritimes department is the perfect place to practice outdoor sports. From April 29 to May 1, the first edition of the Outdoor Festival 06 will take place. We invite you to discover this event which invites the public to practice various sports on land, sea and air in the four corners of the department.
A first on the French Riviera
The Outdoor Festival 06 was originally scheduled for 2020 and had to be postponed due to the health situation related to the Covid-19 epidemic.
It will finally be held in spring 2022 in the Alpes-Maritimes department. This event, organized at the initiative of the department, is a great first on the French Riviera.
As its name suggests, it is a festival entirely devoted to outdoor sports.
It must be said that with its privileged geographical location, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps, the Alpes-Maritimes department is particularly conducive to the practice of many outdoor sports!
A wide range of outdoor activities can be practiced here, from mountaineering to snorkeling, hiking and yachting.
Three days of free activities
Good news for all sports and nature lovers in the Côte d'Azur: the Outdoor Festival 06 will offer three days of totally free activities and entertainment!
During these three days, the public will be able to experience nature sports on land, sea and in the air.
Don't miss this new event that promises to let you discover more than 60 outdoor sports on some 140 sites in the department of Alpes-Maritimes.
Among the sports represented are cycling, mountain biking, slackline, paddle, climbing, paragliding, coastal longevity or kiteboarding.
In total, more than 650 experiences will be on the program of the first edition of the festival.
This program will logically include demonstrations, sports competitions and initiations to different outdoor sports, but also photo exhibitions, conferences around the sport, shows, projections and experiences to live.
The different experiences offered are classified according to six levels of practice:
- kids
- family
- well-being
- discovery
- intense
- expert
Practical information
The first edition of the Outdoor Festival 06 will be held from April 29 to May 1, 2022 on various sites in the Alpes-Maritimes department.
All the animations and activities proposed are free. To participate, you just need to register online in the Outdoor experience and Outdoor event sections of the festival website.
