Logis de France hotel-restaurants are classified as 1, 2 or 3 fireplaces according to their comfort level:
- 1 Chimney: simple comfort, good food, excellent value
- 2 Chimneys: good comfort hotel, tasty food, all at the best price
- 3 Chimneys: excellent comfort, sought-after cuisine, attentive services.
The classification of the labeled hotels takes into account more than 260 criteria such as the warmth of the welcome, authenticity, comfort, setting, but also safety and equipment.
The establishments are controlled at least every 3 years by external organizations thanks to the visit of 'mystery customers'.
This label is one of the two quality indicators approved by the Ministry of Tourism.
In addition, some Logis de France establishments benefit from the Tourism and Handicap label initiated by the Ministry of Tourism.
