The Monaco Christmas Village: An Enchanted World
Every year, a Christmas village is set up at the Port Hercule, on the Quai Albert 1er, from the first week of December. More than a simple Christmas market, this event offers many activities for young and old.
The magic of Christmas in the Principality
Every year since 1999, the Monaco Christmas Village has invited young and old to enter an enchanted universe.
On this occasion, the Quai Albert 1er takes on a festive atmosphere with :
- a Christmas market featuring handicrafts and regional specialties
- decorations renewed every year
- thematic animations: ice rink, merry-go-rounds, musical animations and exhibition of nativity scenes from all over the world.
This Christmas Village is held every year in Port-Hercule during the first week of December.
Edition 2022
This year, the theme of the Monaco Christmas Village is Christmas in Spitsbergen.
Strollers will be able to wander between chalets, merry-go-rounds and gourmet stands. The Ferris Wheel will be back in its place, as well as the traditional ice rink at the Rainier III Water Stadium!
Creative workshops, strolls, animations will be on the program... without forgetting the great evening of December 31, with DJ from 9pm to 3am and Fireworks at midnight
Note: during this holiday season, the entire Principality is dressed in lights. The illuminations last for 6 weeks starting at the end of November, with some exceptions.

The Monaco Christmas Village has set up shop at Port-Hercule until January 2, 2023.

Christmas market, ice rink and entertainment every day from 11am:
- Sunday to Thursday: from 11am to 10:30pm
- Friday and Saturday: from 11am to 11pm
During school vacations: open every day from 11am to 11pm
December 24th : from 11am to 9pm
December 31st : from 11am to 1am
Prices
Access to the village is free, but there is a charge for the various attractions.
Paid parking is available nearby.
