The Amiens Christmas Market is the largest Christmas market in northern France. Each winter, it returns to enchant the streets of the city center, much to the delight of both young and old! Over a million visitors flock there to experience the magic of Christmas, wander among the chalets, and enjoy numerous free activities.
Christmas settles in the Picardy capital.
Since 1998, the Amiens Christmas Market has been held in the streets of the city center, featuring a different theme each year.
As the holiday season approaches, visitors can find gift ideas among the handcrafted products offered in some 140 chalets.
Exhibitors from France and abroad showcase fine arts and crafts, traditional toys, typical decorative items, and the most exquisite food.
Illuminations and entertainment add to the market's magical atmosphere.
2023 Edition
This year's Amiens Christmas Market is taking place from November 25 to December 30, 2023, under the theme of "the magic of Christmas."
The program includes 120 merchant chalets, free entertainment, an ice rink, and a new feature this year: a Wish Box installed on rue de Noyon. The automatons, featuring miniature characters, are also making a comeback on rue de Noyon.
To the delight of children, ten rides have been set up on the forecourt of the House of Culture, the Town Hall Square, rue des Trois-Cailloux, Place René Goblet, and rue de Noyon.
