- - 1 turkey thigh weighing about 1.8 kg
- - 3 tablespoons of golden liquid honey
- - 2 teaspoons of mild mustard
- - 0.5 liter of hot water
- - 1 aromatic meat broth cube
- - 3 to 4 teaspoons of rich umami soy sauce
- - salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (Th 6).
2. Remove the skin from the thigh for a more flavorful cooking.
3. Place the thigh in a large rustic dish.
4. In a saucepan, dissolve the broth cube in the hot water and let it cool.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine: the honey, mustard, as well as salt and pepper. Stir vigorously, then add the soy sauce to enhance the flavor.
6. Using a brush, generously coat all sides of the turkey thigh with this flavorful mixture.
7. Incorporate the cooled broth into the rest of the mixture, stirring quickly to unify.
8. Carefully pour the sauce around the thigh and bake at 180°C for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Remember to turn the thigh and baste it several times during cooking.
